It’s August, and that means free concerts and music festivals are around every corner. If you’re attending, you have to look the part—and festival fashion is all about bohemian style. Here are five easy pieces to inject a little hippie-chic into your look.

Tie-Dye Dress

Sporting tie-dye to a festival is an obvious go-to, but the key to making it look trendy rather than tacky is to opt for minimal color rather than full-on psychedelic rainbow. Layer a tie-dye dress with earthy elements like feather necklaces and wooden bangles; you can even toss on some animal print extras.

Fringed Skirt

Fringe has long been a part of festival fashion and it’s even made it’s way back into mainstream since this past spring, so a fringed piece would be perfect to add to your collection; you could rock at a concert and even wear it IRL (in real life). Try a suede-fringed skirt, just throw on a crop top and a pair of ankle boots and you’re good to go.

Cut-Off Shorts

An essential in any avid festivalgoers wardrobe: cut-off jean shorts. Don’t own a pre-made pair? No problem. You can just cut off a pair of denim jeans at the thigh. Just make sure they have a very low to no elastin count, you want to make sure to have plenty of dangling threads.

Wide-Leg Pants

Wide-leg pants in an intricate crochet lace take the hippie-chic look to a more luxurious place. Added bonus: it’s a trending look for fall.

Eyelet Crop Top

With wide-leg flowing trousers, a white eyelet crop top is perfect for a concert. For day-to-day it’s super chic with a pair of high-waisted shorts or matching eyelet skirt.
