Loving Linen
Check out Fashion Fabrics Club’s favorite ways to wear linen this season. Lightweight, natural, breathable, and totally of-the-moment. Linen is one of the most popular fabrics for summer, always, but this summer it’s taking on a whole new look.
Gingham
Combining two trends in one look is always an easy way to up your style credit. Use a gingham printed linen for a pair of cropped trousers or simple tank. Bonus points for braving the boldness of wearing them together.
Tent Maxi
The tank maxi dress is perfect for summer, especially when it’s done in a slouchy tent style in breezy linen. Any color will do, but sticking to a solid color keeps the look more sophisticated. If you’re craving a little hit of excitement, you can add a printed panel to the bottom hem.
Jumpsuit
That’s right; jumpsuits are still very much a hot trend this summer. But denim can be much too heavy when combating the dead heat of summer, so try it in a soft linen instead. Opt for no sleeves and a cropped leg to keep is extra airy.
Drawstring Loungers
For those days where getting out of PJs is a serious struggle, go for a pair of linen drawstring lounge pants. They have that perfect mix of casual comfort while still looking totally put-together.
Scalloped Shorts
Linen shorts can sometimes air towards super casual, but when it’s in a bright summer white with a design detail like a scalloped hem, it gets taken to a much more luxurious and dressed up place.
